Drag strips between days, add day breaks and banners, undo every step. Cast IDs are never cut off - the strip grows instead.
Private beta · by invitation

Demo project with invented scenes. Strip colours are the Blockshot Studio set - or yours, straight from your file.
What's inside
Drag strips between days, add day breaks and banners, undo every step. Cast IDs are never cut off - the strip grows instead.
See the whole block by week and drag scenes straight onto a date. Days off, holidays and travel days come from your shooting calendar.
One Line Report, Full Fat, Breakdown, Day Out of Days and the stripboard itself - on A4 or US Letter, as PDF or Excel.
Design strips, reports and calendar printouts on a real page preview - or bring in the layouts already saved in your .msd files.
Drop in the PDFs: scene headings, eighths and speaking characters come in as breakdown sheets. Print sides for any shooting day.
Run a second unit alongside the main one. Blockshot flags an actor booked twice on the same day or scheduled against a red flag.
Coming from Movie Magic?
Blockshot reads your .msd files with their boards, breakdown sheets, elements, calendars, colours and layouts. Commands keep the names you know - Day Break, Breakdown Sheet, Day Out of Days - so there is nothing to relearn.
When someone on the production still uses MMS 6, export a regular .msd and send it over.
